The National CLIL Conference: ’For a Global Future’, organised by Nuffic, will take place on 10 November 2017 at the Beatrix Building in Utrecht.
Join about 800 CLIL teachers, tto-coordinators and school managers from bilingual primary, secondary and mbo schools from across the world at the 8th edition of the conference.
The theme of the conference this year is 'For a Global Future'. You will gain inspiration and ideas on how to get the most out of your CLIL teaching and internationalisation programmes.
The British Council will be participating in this year's conference by conducting a workshop for you to take part in.
British Council Workshop: What makes a CLIL programme successful? Good practice from Spain
What is good CLIL? What makes a successful CLIL programme successful? The British Council has been working with multilingual, bilingual and CLIL contexts in Spain for over 20 years and would like to reflect on and share with you what we have learned and what we are still learning. We would like to compare experiences and discuss approaches, ideas and good practice. Can we identify key factors that make teaching in CLIL or bilingual programmes more successful?
Workshop facilitators:
Jody Hoekstra, British Council, Netherlands and Mark Levy, British Council, Spain
